Welcome to Heart and Wings Yoga
- Do you and your staff, faculty and colleagues feel stressed, distracted, and overwhelmed?
- Do you want to help create a workplace that fosters better communication, connection and creativity?
- Do you desire a workplace that attracts and keeps talented, dedicated employees?
Mindfulness can help support all of that and more!
When you weave mindful practices into your workplace, individuals, teams and the organization as a whole thrive. Employees feel valued and appreciated. It creates a happier, more positive work culture where people can flourish.
I started Heart and Wings Yoga to support people like you - people who want to thrive at work they love doing and create an environment for others to also thrive! This is only possible when the work culture is positive, fulfilling and harmonious.
Multiple studies have been done on the effectiveness of workplace mindfulness programs. Here are some of the many benefits they found:
- Increase Productivity
- Increase Happiness
- Reduce Absenteeism
- Reduce Stress
- Produce Better Leaders
- Improve Resilience
- Increase Innovation/Creativity
- Improve Collaboration
- Improve Employee Retention
- Improve Overall Wellbeing
If there’s anything we can be certain of, it’s that change is inevitable! Mindfulness helps to keep everyone feeling more at ease and better equipped to manage the stress of change, client work and the responsibilities of each role.
By bringing mindfulness and other wellness services to your workplace, each person will have the opportunity to reap the benefits of it, creating an overall welcoming and productive workplace.
You can look into a complete package to meet the needs of your organization or stand alone classes to help get you started. Together we will customize what works best for you and your people!
Next step? Let’s get on a Discovery Call to see what your needs are and what would help create the workplace you desire!
"Employees who believe that management is concerned about them as a whole person — not just an employee — are more productive, more satisfied, more fulfilled. Satisfied employees mean satisfied customers, which leads to profitability." ~Anne M. Mulcahy
About Stephanie
I have been on my yoga journey for more than 20 years! My yoga practice has helped me to find balance and calm in the busyness of life – and in parenting!! It has taught me lessons in letting go of the need for perfectionism and control so that I can truly enjoy time with my children and activities that I love.
Life’s adventure led me to being a Yoga Teacher (RYT 500hr), Certified Mindfulness Coach and a Certified Yoga Therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (C-IAYT). I also have certifications in Health and Life Coaching that are accredited by the International Coaching Federation and I’m certified in Plant-Based Nutrition through e-Cornell.
Throughout the pandemic, I taught virtual yoga classes, often with students joining in from around the globe! I loved seeing the transformation that happens when people discover the healing and freedom that comes from an honest exploration of yoga and its many practices and philosophies! It was then that I decided to create Heart and Wings Yoga to continue sharing yoga and wellness practices to encourage people to see their amazing selves and create the life they want!
Before starting Heart and Wings Yoga, I served as a Board of Director member for a local food pantry that supported more than 400 families each month. In partnership with the food pantry, I worked with a retired Navy Captain to help create a new ministry to serve Veterans with PTSD. We started with two Veterans and soon were providing food and other support services to more than 50 Veterans each month! I offer Karma Classes (no fee to practice, any donations are given to a Veterans' organization) to continue supporting Veterans.
I have two children: Benjamin, 14, and Rayna, 11. We enjoy cooking, baking, riding bikes, reading, and playing with our sweet pup, Simba!
